I work on a mac and there is always that extra bit you get in the regular OS Software Updates (like the windows update dialog) that you are never prepared for. Sometimes, and by sometimes I mean once a year, the update addresses older firmware for your wireless card, causing unnecessary troubles for the average joe.
And it happened a couple of weeks ago - following the 10.4.10 update, my WL connections dropped randomly and i couldn’t get good reception even though a regular windows box was roaring away to glory.
Damn! The price you pay to stay ahead. But fortunately, for all the netgear WGT624v3 owners, there is hope out there. Netgear released the upgraded router firmware a week ago! Here’s the link. Enjoy the super-fast speeds - improved reception, better range and improved connection stability!
